SUMMARY:Neighborhood Litter Pick-Up
DESCRIPTION:An informal litter clean-up gathering in Chestnut Ridge. We’ll remove unsightly garbage along roadways\, protecting our local waterways against litter\, especially plastics\, that enter our storm drains. Clean Streets = Clean Streams.  \nWho: Everyone welcome! Please invite your family members and neighbors. \nLocation: Green Meadow Waldorf School Parking Lot (Chestnut Ridge Road entrance). \nSchedule: Gather at 10:30 for coffee\, set out to pick up litter at 10:45. We can do a lot of good in a short amount of time\, even an hour or two. Folks are welcome to come and go as their schedule allows. \nPlan: We will walk the loop: Chestnut Ridge Road to Red Schoolhouse Road to Summit Road back to Chestnut Ridge Road. If you have a different location you’d like to cover\, maybe in front of your home\, that’s fine too. The point is to pick-up litter anywhere in our community.
