SUMMARY:Speech Chorus: The Foundation Stone Meditation
DESCRIPTION:With Jennifer Kleinbach\nIt is said that all of anthroposophy can be found within Rudolf Steiner’s monumental verse\, the Foundation Stone Meditation. The focus of this monthly speech chorus will be the development of the wide-ranging qualities of speech needed for the Meditation’s artistic expression. We will also work with seasonal poetry to further broaden our spectrum. \nSchedule: The chorus will meet on fourth Friday (3:30–4:30pm) and the following Saturday (10:00–11:00am) of each month in 2022. The year is divided into three terms: \n\nWinter/Spring: Feb 25/26\, Mar 25/26\, Apr 22/23\, May 27/28\nSummer: Jun 24/25\, Jul 22/23\, Aug 26/27\nFall: Sep 23/24\, Oct 28/29\, Nov 25/26\, and Dec 23/24\n\nThis is a year-long project. This joyful work fully engages the whole human being\, body\, soul\, and spirit — all our senses — our very breath. \nThe Threefold Community Speech Chorus supports the community’s rich cultural life by creating and performing artistic contributions to festival celebrations. Blocks of 90-minute Saturday practices culminate in a public festival performance. All are welcome! \nThe Fall Speech Chorus will meet 10:00-11:30am on 9/17\, 9/24\, 10/1\, 10/15\, 10/22\, 10/29\, 11/5 (All Souls Festival)\, 11/12\, 11/19\, 12/3\, 12/10\, 12/17\, 12/18 (Christmas Festival). \nBy donation.
