DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, March 31\, 2026\, at 7:30 pm; Wednesday\, April 1\, 2026\, at 7:30 pm \nJoin us for the end-of-term sharing\, and experience what has grown during these last cold months. Each class has a large curriculum to tackle in the second term. \nThe second-year students began their exploration of intervals and their first big Steiner form–Mendelssohn’s Funeral March–while diving into the shifts of harmony. In speech eurythmy\, they tackled Apollonian forms while also deepening their eurythmic speaking. \nThe third- and fifth-year students worked deeply with color in the eurythmy figures\, and also with soul calendars while diving into English sounds. They also worked together with the inter-relationships of voices in a trio on tone eurythmy while also experiencing the subtle boundaries between speech and music. \nThe third-year students had the first independent exploration of Steiner speech and tone forms with their solo assignments while the fifth-year students created their own solo forms for pieces of their choice. \nDonations welcome! \nClick here to learn more and to register in advance! \nFor additional information about the event\, please email marta@eurythmy.org.

Saturday\, April 25\, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm \nWe will explore artistic\, therapeutic\, and formative speech aspects of the “Concordances” in eurythmy in relation to Rudolf Steiner’s insights shared on December 28\, 1923\, and Lea van der Pals’ Tone Eurythmy Therapy. \nWorkshop Fee: $125 \nJan Ranck studied music and comparative literature at Indiana University\, Bloomington\, USA\, flute at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague\, Netherlands\, eurythmy at the Eurythmeum of Lea van der Pals in Dornach\, Switzerland\, and eurythmy therapy in Stuttgart\, Germany. Grigory Smirnov has worked closely with Eurythmy Spring Valley since 2019\, both as a pianist and a composer. Over the years\, many of his compositions have been performed in eurythmy\, and this April\, we will bring as many tone eurythmy pieces as possible to visibility on stage\, celebrating many gifts that Grigory brings to our community. Rudolf Steiner composed the calendar to tune the soul as a companion through the year. Later on he also created eurythmy forms for each verse in variously sized groups. This festival will bring all 52 verses to performance in eurythmy in English\, as a U.S. premier. EANA has gathered groups nationwide (including Canada\, Mexico and Taiwan) to prepare the verses for performance at the festival. \nWe welcome the general public interested in exploring this remarkable progression through lectures\, and artistic workshops in eurythmy\, speech\, painting and plant dying.
