Our first speech intensive of the year will join the full-time speech training for an invigorating eight days. With a theme of the four elements, the program will include the basic building blocks of clear and vivid speech needed for rich story-telling. Classes will be M–F, from 8:15am to 4p, and will include Speech Formation, Speech Chorus, Greek Gymnastics, and Eurythmy.
The exercise of Greek gymnastics — running, jumping, wrestling, discus, and javelin — is a joyful pathway toward a healthy relationship of self to world, and helps build the foundation for powerful, skillful, and graceful speech. Join Carley Horan for an introduction to and practice in these events.
Barbara Renold will lead a study of Rudolf Steiner’s Mystery Dramas, beginning with The Portal of Initiation. Appropriate for beginners and those already familiar with the plays.
The Fall Speech Chorus will meet on Saturday mornings to prepare choral pieces to offer at the Threefold community Festival of All Souls.

Christ is Creativity. As creative human beings, we are involved in the Christian mystery. As self-conscious beings, we may become conscious of creativity as a Christ-Event. Christ-Conscious Art will explore the free deed of art; self-conscious creation; and awakening to inner experiences of the Christian mystery, through drawing, writing, listening, speaking.
