DESCRIPTION:With Chris Marlow\n4 Saturdays\, 10:00am-4:00pm\nJanuary 29\, February 5\, March 19\, April 9 \nCreating your own hand-spun yarn can be a very satisfying activity on many levels. Gaining new skills\, and then attentively applying them while observing your materials and your process\, can lead to a transformative experience for both the fiber and the fiber artisan. \nIn this four-session course\, we will learn — by doing — how to prepare and spin wool fiber. Starting with a raw fleece from local Jacob sheep\, we will wash the wool\, card it\, and spin it using a drop spindle.
