DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED \nWith Cynthia Hoven and Andrew Linnell\nIn this engaging three-day mini-conference\, Cynthia Hoven and Andrew Linell will lead us through eurythmy\, lectures\, and conversation into a deeper understanding of the rightful place of sub-nature in our age and how to cultivate a personal eurythmy practice as a super-sensible etheric counterbalance to the immobilizing effects of technology. \nCynthia Hoven has spent decades teaching eurythmy and studies in anthroposophy to thousands of people around the world. In addition to decades of teaching at Rudolf Steiner College\, she has worked as a eurythmy performer\, trainer\, therapist\, and workshop leader\, and has been a pioneer in developing online eurythmy curriculum. \nAndrew Linnell is co-founder of MysTech\, an anthroposophical organization devoted to realizing the interpenetration of the moral and the mechanical\, past president of the Boston branch. DESCRIPTION:Calling It Like It Is: Uncovering and Dismantling Racism in the Waldorf Movement was first presented by Sunbridge in September 2020. The need for and interest in the event proved to be so widespread\, it has been repeated to new audiences several times since. This workshop is an encore presentation of that original event. \nOver the course of three one-and-a-half-hour sessions taking place virtually in real-time on Friday evening and Saturday morning and afternoon\, this workshop will: \n\nDefine and articulate the ways many Waldorf school curricula center whiteness and set it up as an ideal\, to the detriment of all;\nUse the frameworks of racial identity formation and biography work to better understand how we become who we are in a racialized society and how that impacts our engagement with the children in our care;\nShare practical tools\, resources\, and success stories with the goal of dismantling racism in Waldorf schools and communities.\n\nInformation\, and to register: Visit this page. \nThis workshop was rescheduled from September 23-24\, 2022.

This joyful work fully engages the whole human being\, body\, soul\, and spirit — all our senses — our very breath. \nThe Threefold Community Speech Chorus supports the community’s rich cultural life by creating and performing artistic contributions to festival celebrations. Blocks of 90-minute Saturday practices culminate in a public festival performance.
