Who are you? – I wish to enter your heart. – Then it is a small space you wish. – What does that matter? Though I scarcely find room\, you will have no need to complain of crowding. I will tell you now of wondrous things. – Oh\, is it you\, Lady Adventure?” (Book Nine of Wolfram von Eschenbach’s Parzival) \nIn Wolfram von Eschenbach’s Parzival\, we are lifted to the pinnacle of the High Medieval imagination\, where the bravery and courtesy of men come to meet the steadfastness and gentleness of women. We have the joy of new adventures\, on the one hand\, and the deepest grief and suffering\, on the other. We move between the Court of Arthur and the Circle of the Grail\, from Munsalvaesche to the Castle of Wonders\, from Parzival to Gawain. And throughout the grand knightly adventures\, we find scenes of the greatest tenderness as well as charming moments of humor. \nFor Wolfram\, the world was a soulscape filled with goodness and meaning. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 1\, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm \nAnnelies Davidson is visiting from the Netherlands and offering an introductory speech eurythmy session for professional eurythmists. Then she will be working on solos with individuals. Only six time slots are available\, so six eurythmists can apply. \nAs a professional eurythmist\, bring one solo that you have already worked on for a solo master session of 30 minutes. There will be two sessions for each person: one in the morning\, one in the afternoon. Lunch provided on the premises to save time. \nAnnelies Davidson began performing & teaching in adult education in 1975 in London\, England. She continued that work 1986- 2002 as a faculty member & stage artist at Eurythmy Spring Valley. She was active 2002-2008 as a freelance eurythmy teacher & director in different settings in Chestnut Ridge\, NY\, & abroad while caring for the old & dying\, when time allowed\, at the Fellowship Community also in Chestnut Ridge\, NY. In 2008\, she rejoined the faculty of Eurythmy Spring Valley.
