DESCRIPTION:Week One: Monday – Friday\, August 3-7; Week Two: Monday – Thursday\, August 10-13. \nPedagogical Refresher for Professional Eurythmists \nDuring the first week\, we’ll be reviewing the pedagogical eurythmy curriculum for nursery/kindergarten through the seventh grade with John Holmes\, a long-time eurythmy teacher\, retired from the Kimberton Waldorf School\, PA. With Lisa Profumo\, a class teacher at the Berkshire Waldorf School\, MA\, we’ll be reading and discussing Christof Wiechert’s lectures from the book Teaching\, the Joy of Profession. \nIn the second week\, we’ll be looking at the eighth grade curriculum\, presented by Patti Regan\, eurythmy teacher at the Berkshire Waldorf School\, MA. SUMMARY:52 Colors of the Soul
DESCRIPTION:August 12-16\, 2026 @ Threefold Chestnut Ridge\, NY \nThe Calendar of the Soul with its 52 verses is the inspiration behind this event. Rudolf Steiner composed the calendar to tune the soul as a companion through the year. Later on he also created eurythmy forms for each verse in variously sized groups. This festival will bring all 52 verses to performance in eurythmy in English\, as a U.S. premier. EANA has gathered groups nationwide (including Canada\, Mexico and Taiwan) to prepare the verses for performance at the festival. \nWe welcome the general public interested in exploring this remarkable progression through lectures\, and artistic workshops in eurythmy\, speech\, painting and plant dying.
