Olaf Asteson falls into a kind of sleep for the 13 nights of Christmas and awakes to tell of his experiences. Rudolf Steiner validated the Dream Song as an authentic rendering of spiritual experiences. SUMMARY:Listening through the Sacred Silence
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 8\, 9:30am to 4:30pm \n\nInspired by the ” listening work” of Channa A.  Seidenberg (anthroposophical music therapist\, lyrist\, and composer) this workshop explores the sacred art of listening through various artistic means.  We will first focus on the lyre tone\, known for its purity and etheric sound to deepen our listening to go beyond tone into the depths of silence.  We will also work with movement\, singing and improvisation to further enhance our listening experience.  We look at this work as not merely a musical or artistic endeavor but as a metaphor for life in terms of how we encounter one another.  It is said that to listen selflessly is one of the greatest gifts we can give to one another.  Our hope is that we can open the door to approaching that ideal.  This workshop is open to anyone who wants to explore listening in a deeper sense as a sacred act of love.  There is no requirement to have any previous musical training.  Just come with an open heart and a willingness to listen in a new way.\n\nAdmission: Suggested donation of $50 which will go to the Christian Community Church\n\nContact:  Sally Willig swillig2@optimum.net or 215-264-7717

The content is an essential part of a modern esoteric Christology. We resume this study with Lecture Six and participants are asked to please read the lecture in advance. SUMMARY:Crossing the Veil and Coming Back to Life
DESCRIPTION:Presenting an ensemble theater piece based on true stories of people who have reported near death experiences. \nThe stories follow a travel journey narrative starting with the “moment of death” when the characters have been declared clinically dead or experienced a medical crisis that brought them to the edge of death. This leads to a crossing of the veil between life and death and  profound experiences and visions of life in the postmortem realms. The journey concludes with a return to physical life and the challenges of sharing the experience with others and integrating it into their lives.   \nThe piece is a new work in progress conceived by Robert Cornett and led by Ted Pugh.   \nEnsemble:  Eddie Allen\, Robert Cornett\, Laurie Portocarrero\, Vincent Roppolo\, Dasana Smyth. \nMusicians:  Christina Porkert\, Sarah Stosiek. \nSuggested donation: $10-$25. No one turned away for lack of funds.
