SUMMARY:Art of Clothing
DESCRIPTION:Empowering Individuality and Sustainability in Garment Making\nLed by Miho Suzuki\, Nao Motomatsu & Milena Bica-Shibata\nIn ten Saturday workshops from September to June\, we design and sew four garments using four natural fibers (cotton\, linen\, wool\, and silk) to create a complete outfit. Drafting simple patterns and sewing by hand gives us the opportunity to center ourselves and practice a meditative way of working. DESCRIPTION:This workshop is an introduction to the dye plants and dyeing projects that are especially characteristic of the end of summer. \nWe will start the day harvesting flowers\, leaves\, and roots from our biodynamic dye plant garden.
