Seeing Nature Whole and Life Rhythms and Planting Calendar
Saturday, March 23, 9 am – 5 pm
In the morning, Craig Holdrege explores how to work with the living dynamic qualities of plants and animals to better understand the world around us. In the afternoon, Sherry Wildfeuer, a long-time editor of the Stella Natura planting calendar, explains how the calendar is created, what it tells us, and how we can use it to learn to work with, rather than against, nature’s rhythms and forces.
Craig is a biologist, an educator, and Director of The Nature Institute in Ghent, NY, a research and education organization for a unique qualitative approach to science. Craig is the author of many books and articles on genetic engineering, genetics, and a holistic, Goethean approach to science.
Sherry is the editor of the Stella Natura Biodynamic Planting Calendar, a co-worker at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, PA, and a long-time active member of the Anthroposophical Society and the Agriculture Section of the School of Spiritual Science.
