When I was twenty-five years old, I had a revelation: Christ is the Being of Creativity. Thus, as creative human beings, we are involved in the Christian mystery. Furthermore, as self-conscious beings, we even have the opportunity to become conscious of creativity as a Christ-Event. The workshop Christ-Conscious Art will be an exploration of the free deed of art; the loving self-conscious creation of ourselves; and the awakening to inner experiences of the Christian mystery within our own creative process. We will explore these realities through a series of exercises in drawing, writing, listening, and speaking.
