Mark was a founding member of the Social Science and Youth Section of the School for Spiritual Science in North America. He started his career in social finance in 1984 as a founding member of the Rudolf Steiner Foundation (RSF), an organization focused on developing innovative social finance tools out of Anthroposophy. Among other accomplishments, RSF is responsible for funding the expansion of Waldorf Schools throughout North America. Mark served as President and CEO until 2007, helping to grow assets to $120 million, and then transitioned to Chairman of the Board of Trustees until 2018.
