A Workshop for Professional Eurythmists

Rudolf Steiner gave a rich resource for the art of eurythmy when he brought forth his archetypal Tone Eurythmy Form: a form that can unlock insights about any musical piece we wish to know more deeply. In this workshop, Dorothea will explore how this form reveals the different qualities of the lower and upper tetrachord, inspires us to find the inherent movements in the basic scale and phrasing, and gives access to the potential of expansion and contraction in group eurythmy forms. Through a deeper recognition of the formative elements in the musical pieces we work with, the capacity to build tone forms out of their intrinsic movement qualities is strengthened.
