Join us for an evening with the postgraduates hailing from China, the U.S., and Russia, and through their very dedicated work created a rich tapestry of music and poetry for their culminating program.
The postgraduate program will include a wide variety of group pieces, such as a Beethoven sonata, a composition by composer-in-residence Grigory Smirnov, poetry by the New York poet Samuel Menashe, eurythmist Annelies Davidson, T. S. Eliot, and G. K. Chesterton, some lighthearted pieces, and one movement of Schubert’s haunting piano trio in Eb Major. It will also include solo pieces by the postgraduate students, ranging from Debussy to Bach and Hopkins, to name only a few.
