A studio for teens interested in creating wearable garments while learning sewing techniques and pattern construction.
Participants may:
- Learn to use a sewing machine
- Read and adjust commercial patterns
- Construct simple garments
- Finish seams professionally
- Mend and alter clothing
Suggested Projects: Tote bag (beginning project), easy pants, linen apron, skirt, tunic, shirt, simple jacket.
