Dr. Lakshmi Prasanna began her career as a neonatologist. She developed an interest in working with children with autism from a sensory and metabolic perspective and working with Rudolf Steiner’s insights. Lakshmi is the Founder of Little Hearts Children’s Hospital (1997) and the Saandeepani Centre for Healing and Curative Education (2004) in Hyderabad, India as well as the Former President and co-founder of the Anthroposophical Medical Society in India. Lakshmi now works worldwide to support Waldorf Educators, doctors, families, and others to meet the needs of today’s society and children through anthroposophical insights and self development.
