New date: Sunday, March 1st at 2:00 pm in the Auditorium Side Room
This year on the 150th anniversary of Ita Wegman’s birthday, in response to a call from Dr. Adam Blanning and the Goetheanum Medical Section, Threefold is joining a worldwide effort with a special celebration on her birth date, February 22 (postponed to March 1st).
Ita Wegman was a practicing physician and one of Rudolf Steiner’s most trusted and closest collaborators. She worked with him to develop anthroposophical medicine and other therapeutic modalities and she initiated and inspired many other important ventures.
She was steadfast in her commitment to her ideals and showed the greatest courage while facing the social and economic chaos of her time and the Nazi rise in Germany.
Hear more about this extraordinary individual and join us in honoring Ita Wegman in a celebration that will include:
- The Courage to Act, a talk by Judith Brockway
- Therapeutic Modalites–Eurythmy, a demonstration by Brigida Baldzun
- light refreshments from Threefold Café.
