Monday, August 17, 2026 through Friday, August 21, 2026

Join the SEW Faculty — Sea-Anna Vasilas for tone eurythmy, Cameron MacArthur for speech eurythmy, and John McManus for speech and drama — to celebrate the arts of drama, eurythmy, and speech, and the balancing capacities of these arts together!

In our tone eurythmy sessions, we will playfully engage with the experience of music brought to visibility through movement. By entering into a conversation with the fundamental elements of tone eurythmy together, we will discover the creative potential in eurythmy as visible singing.

In our speech eurythmy sessions, we will explore the sculptural and singing aspects of speaking with our whole being. We will work together with the elements of speech to bring poetry into movement.

In our speech and drama sessions, we will work on the fundamentals of gesture and dive into the world of archetypes. By exploring different archetypes and applying them to a given text, we will unlock imaginative possibilities. Using a variety of texts, we will work with a playful spirit, considering the importance of choice and listening to and receiving what others are creating and offering. In this way, we will explore the dynamics of ensemble work and the opportunities this type of collaborative drama offers.

And we’ll share our explorations on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7:30 pm at the School of Eurythmy.

Please join us for a week of refreshment!
