A Talk in Preparation for Michaelmas

As Michaelmas approaches, we remember the last address Rudolf Steiner gave ninety-nine years ago on September 28, 1924.
If we have the courage to respond to Michael’s “wise sign,” the Manichean principle of bringing the Light into the Darkness may resonate in our will.
We cannot avoid the darkness. What can we do that the Darkness comprehend the Light?
Andrew Wolpert has been giving courses, seminars, and lectures on Language, Art History, Shakespeare, and Parzival, at Emerson College, at the University in Stuttgart, and for various schools and institutions in Europe, Australia, and Asia. He coordinates the Humanities Section of the School of Spiritual Science in Great Britain.
