The Eurythmy Spring Valley Post-Graduate Training for 2022-23 will focus on English speech eurythmy, tone eurythmy elements, and on the stage art of eurythmy, culminating in a performance and a local tour.
Begin a profession in movement with the art that enhances learning at every life stage.
Have you ever dreamed of taking a deep dive into eurythmy while honoring your existing obligations? This part-time training is designed for people who are able to attend seven weeks of course work, structured into four study blocks during the school year, in autumn, winter, and spring.
The art of eurythmy can help to build a bridge between the world of the living and those who have crossed the threshold of death. Please join us for this four-week series in celebration of the All Souls Festival season, where we will deepen our relationship to the first word ever given for eurythmy, "Hallelujah," and explore poetry and verses for those on the other side of the threshold.
Please join us for our October performance, centered around the fairytale The Frog Prince, surrounded by music and poetry. Theme and Variations by Handel and an Impromptu by Sibelius with the whole group, as well as solos by Bruckner, Chopin, and others, round out the evening program.
Does one have to be a philosopher of great erudition to understand Aristotle's gift to humanity – his Categories? Perhaps, yes! However, let us explore a path out of intellectual confinement to an experience of expansion supported by eurythmy.

An offering of music, eurythmy, and speech, the reading of the names, and a festival address by Rüdiger Janisch. Due to the quiet nature of the event, the doors will be closed promptly at 8:00pm.
Annelies Davidson has in mind to begin this speech eurythmy course for professional eurythmists with an approach to the worlds of sound, space, and form with everyone moving together. Short texts will then be offered to choose from for smaller groups to work with. At the end, showing each other the (very likely) unfinished pieces will be most stimulating, as we see each other’s intentions having found form and character.
Eurythmy Spring Valley's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and postgraduate-year students are deeply immersed in learning the many elements at each stage of their studies since September. Our fall end-of-term festival offers a wonderful occasion for the community to watch the clear steps of development and refinement inherent in the training.

The Eurythmy Spring Valley Ensemble is presenting an evening program with the fairy tale "The Frog Prince," surrounded by music and poetry. Theme and Variations by Handel and an Impromptu by Sibelius with the whole group, as well as solos by Bruckner, Chopin, and others, will round out the evening.
First developed by Annemarie Ehrlich of the Hague, this approach to “social” eurythmy has many methods for teaching adults that help deepen capacities for working together. This short course will introduce several exercises and explore them with the group.
Please join us for this year's winter studio program. Once again, the members of the ESV Ensemble and eurythmists in the area have been preparing solos and duets, and will offer a rich array of pieces comprised of speech and tone eurythmy.
