First Michael School Research Colloquium on Lesson 6
Conference Details
This June 12-14th, a group of Class Holders in Northern California will host Claus-Peter Roeh at Summerfield Waldorf School in Santa Rosa, California to lead a Colloquium of working on the steps and turning points of Class Lesson 6. Over two days we will develop our understanding of this Lesson out of different perspectives: a free holding (rendering), Eurythmy contributions as introductions to Class work, a Eurythmy workshop, a visual arts workshop, and a Class conversation. These preparations will build up to the holding of Lesson Six by all members present as a shared responsibility, a “free group holding” in a circle. The intention for the free group holding is – in the picture of the reverse or cognitive ritual of the Anthroposophical Society – to create a rising inner activity of awareness coming closer to the challenges of this Class Lesson.
We ask all participants to live with the turning points and counter movements of the sixth lesson beforehand and to bring questions into the work of the colloquium.
Preparatory Group:
Claus-Peter Röh, Ezra Sullivan, Renate Lundberg, Thomas Schaefer, Dale Robinson, David Wurfel, Michael Hughes, Sarah Dunbar, Mary Bowen and Pamela Whitman.
