At this in-person workshop, we will make a hand sewn wool felt slipper that can be made for child or adult, using a pattern based on tracing the foot. The resulting slipper is a lightweight slip-on, perfect as a travel slipper or for indoor wear.
Over the years, we have made some wonderful connections with local providers of fibers. At this free virtual event, we will share some of our resources with you and look together at the fibers that they offer.
Join Miho Suzuki as we make an extra-large size rainbow silk veil learning how to over-dye with 3 kinds of plant colors. You will receive healing energy from the color of nature and be surprised by the wonder of over-dye magic.
Join Anne-Marie Kavulla to explore the wonder of natural dyes through a process known as bundle dyeing. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a unique botanical print on an organic cotton bandana.

Learn a technique to weave together a stone and a stick as a reminder of all that our beautiful Earth gives us. This is a traditional craft that embodies the spirit of giving. You will complete one or more woven stones using waxed linen cord and be introduced to other materials and patterns to explore on your own. Led by April Saladino, lover of beach stones, river rocks, bits of nature and the possibilities they present when combined with fiber and found objects.
