April Saladino returns to the Fiber Craft Studio to introduce beginner knotless netting techniques. We will create a small pouch or covered stone that can be worn or held. No experience is necessary.
Bring your fiber, textile, or clothing item to the Studio to dye. Indigo, black walnut, and cutch dye pots will be ready for you. The price is $3/ounce (8 ounces maximum for indigo). Natural fibers only, please.
This workshop is an introduction to the dye plants and dyeing projects that are characteristic of the end of summer.
In this course, we'll design and sew garments using cotton, linen, wool, and silk. We’ll draft patterns and hand-sew, practicing a meditative approach. Explore sewing techniques, plant dyeing, and embroidery to create unique pieces. Classes include inspiring activities for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artisans.

Come experience the centering forces of knitting in the round! Over the course of four workshop classes, we will start by plant-dyeing beautiful, soft, 100% merino wool yarn and continue on to create a cozy hat, handwarmers, and a supple cowl for your neck.
