For our December open studio, we invite you to join us in Orchard House for our last mending circle of the year. Next year, we will move along to up-cycling and reviving old clothes. Bring an article of clothing needing repair- let’s work together to create it anew.

Come learn how to needle-felt a gnome with Carmen Mañon and create a little world around it. No experience necessary, just a willingness to explore the possibilities inherent in fleece fibers. This workshop is for people aged sixteen and older.

Bring your fiber, textile, or clothing item to the Studio to dye. An indigo dye pot will be ready for you.
April Saladino returns to the Fiber Craft Studio to introduce beginner knotless netting techniques. We will create a small pouch or covered stone that can be worn or held. No experience is necessary.
Bring your fiber, textile, or clothing item to the Studio to dye. Indigo, black walnut, and cutch dye pots will be ready for you. The price is $3/ounce (8 ounces maximum for indigo). Natural fibers only, please.
This workshop is an introduction to the dye plants and dyeing projects that are characteristic of the end of summer.
