In this course, we'll design and sew garments using cotton, linen, wool, and silk. We’ll draft patterns and hand-sew, practicing a meditative approach. Explore sewing techniques, plant dyeing, and embroidery to create unique pieces. Classes include inspiring activities for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artisans.

Bring your fiber, textile, or clothing item to the Studio to dye. An indigo dye pot will be ready for you. The price is $3/ounce, 8 ounces maximum, natural fibers only please.

Come experience the centering forces of knitting in the round! Over the course of four workshop classes, we will start by plant-dyeing beautiful, soft, 100% merino wool yarn and continue on to create a cozy hat, handwarmers, and a supple cowl for your neck.
