Over the course of four years of study, students in the 12th cycle of the Applied Arts Program have designed and created, sewn, knitted, woven, and crocheted projects reflecting the Waldorf school curriculum, while practicing handwork as a spiritual, artistic, and practical anthroposophical activity. Join us for a full morning experience of the harmonizing and healing power of eurythmy. This is an intensive half-day of eurythmy to enter the world of poetry and music, and to discover new vistas and insights into oneself—a first introduction for those considering a part-time Frontier or full-time eurythmy training, or for anyone just interested in a eurythmy immersion.
In this course, we'll design and sew garments using cotton, linen, wool, and silk. We’ll draft patterns and hand-sew, practicing a meditative approach. Explore sewing techniques, plant dyeing, and embroidery to create unique pieces. Classes include inspiring activities for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artisans.
