We have an After School Craft Club for Grades 1-12 where they can concentrate on building their fiber work skills, alongside trained handwork teachers. For homeschoolers, we have created a program in Cooking & Handwork, as well as an Intensive Handwork class for individualized attention.

During this two-hour group walking tour, you’ll see, smell, touch, and taste the farm through up-close animal encounters, product tastings, and a stroll through our vegetable fields and dairy barn. Along the way, Farmer Kim will share how we put Biodynamic farming principles into practice and answer your questions about what makes our farm unique.

This workshop is an introduction to the dye plants and dyeing projects that are characteristic of the end of summer. We will start the day harvesting flowers, leaves, and roots from our biodynamic dye plant garden. As we deepen our acquaintance and receive the beautiful colors of the plants, we feel the healing energy of the plant world.

In this course, we design and sew three garments using natural fibers of cotton, linen, and wool, and make a shawl or scarf using silk to create a complete outfit. Drafting simple patterns and sewing by hand gives us the opportunity to center ourselves and practice a meditative way of working.
