Richly embedded within the Threefold Community in Spring Valley, NY, The Pfeiffer Center’s one-year, part-time practical training enables farmers and gardeners of any variety and experience level to put Rudolf Steiner’s agriculture lectures into practice.

Proceeds from this event support farm, garden, and equestrian programming at the Otto Specht School! Race begins at Green Meadow Waldorf School and ends at the Fellowship Community Hand and Hoe.

In this course, we'll design and sew garments using cotton, linen, wool, and silk. We’ll draft patterns and hand-sew, practicing a meditative approach. This four-year, part-time training for handwork teachers meets twice a year, covering two grades annually. Students refine their skills, enhance their creativity, and learn to bring these experiences to children. While rooted in Waldorf education, it benefits teachers in all settings, including homeschooling.
