The biodynamic preparations harness life-regulating processes and are subtle catalysts to help create conditions for healthy growth. Mac Mead and Megan Durney lead us in making several of the biodynamic compost preparations and discuss their healing effects on soil and plants
Annual outdoor community building and outreach event that attracts approximately 1,200 people from the tri-state area. We offer a variety of children’s activities, feature local musicians on our main stage, and host dozens of craft vendors and offer delicious food from local vendors and our own Threefold Cafe.

The centennial story continues on October 23rd with Bridging the Past and Future: Education, the second evening in our series exploring the history and living work of the institutions within our community. This second installment of institutional biographies will include Green Meadow Waldorf School, the Otto Specht School, Endeavor 21 +, and more.
In this course, we design and sew three garments using natural fibers of cotton, linen, and wool, and make a shawl or scarf using silk to create a complete outfit. Drafting simple patterns and sewing by hand gives us the opportunity to center ourselves and practice a meditative way of working.
