    Calling It Like It Is: Uncovering and Dismantling Racism in the Waldorf Movement

    This workshop will define the ways many Waldorf school curricula center whiteness, use the frameworks of racial identity formation and biography work to better understand how we become who we are in a racialized society, and share practical tools, resources, and success stories with the goal of dismantling racism in Waldorf schools and communities.     Joyful Beginning Parent Child Program

    With Rudolf Steiner’s Twelve Senses as our framework — and drawing deeply on our own inner resources — we will learn to trust and respect the wisdom of our babies. With regard to practical care, we will draw primarily from the approaches of Dr. Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber (RIE). Throughout the workshops, we will learn simple songs and games to bring joy to the parent-child bond.
