With Nao Motomatsu & Miho Suzuki Three workshops to introduce two very different styles of embroidery (sashiko and seed stitch). Both methods ask for intentions, be they therapeutic, meditative, or reflective; experiencing and practicing both methods can lead participants on a journey to find our own center.

The Eurythmy Spring Valley Ensemble is presenting an evening program with the fairy tale "The Frog Prince," surrounded by music and poetry. Theme and Variations by Handel and an Impromptu by Sibelius with the whole group, as well as solos by Bruckner, Chopin, and others, will round out the evening.
This workshop will define the ways many Waldorf school curricula center whiteness, use the frameworks of racial identity formation and biography work to better understand how we become who we are in a racialized society, and share practical tools, resources, and success stories with the goal of dismantling racism in Waldorf schools and communities. This workshop was rescheduled from September 23-24, 2022.

First developed by Annemarie Ehrlich of the Hague, this approach to “social” eurythmy has many methods for teaching adults that help deepen capacities for working together. This short course will introduce several exercises and explore them with the group.
Please join us for this year's winter studio program. Once again, the members of the ESV Ensemble and eurythmists in the area have been preparing solos and duets, and will offer a rich array of pieces comprised of speech and tone eurythmy.
With Rudolf Steiner’s Twelve Senses as our framework — and drawing deeply on our own inner resources — we will learn to trust and respect the wisdom of our babies. With regard to practical care, we will draw primarily from the approaches of Dr. Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber (RIE). Throughout the workshops, we will learn simple songs and games to bring joy to the parent-child bond.
Six Fridays from February 3 to March 10. Participants can sign up for the whole program or for individual elements — but advance registration is very helpful to us.
