The Shepherds’ Play is the second of three Christmas Medieval Mystery plays that Rudolf Steiner recovered from obscurity. It is the Nativity from the Luke Gospel with the Annunciation, Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem, their dealings with the Innkeepers, the Angels’ proclamation to the Shepherds and their consequent visit to the stable.

All are welcome to a celebration of the season with music, choral singing, eurythmy, and featuring a children's Christmas story, The First Gift, told by Joen Dealande , with a tree lighting and caroling to end.
It is said that on Christmas Eve, the veil between the human and animal world is thin and the language barrier between species fades away. Join us for a magical time of caroling to the cows by candle light! All ages welcome!
